RADAR Engineering Facility

The resources of the Radar Velocimeter Team include a radar engineering Facility located at TACOM-ARDEC and a Mobile Field Unit for use at the Test ranges. These resources provide the customer with: (1) High power remote radar instrumentation Test Lab, (2) Radar System and instrumentation Van that is tempest approved and instrumented with state of the art recording, communication, data analysis equipment and ancillary field power support, (3) Mobile field Unit that quickly installed and readily adaptable to local or remote operation over any terrain, (4) Independent test measurement and evaluation support to the customer, (5) Upgraded Velocimeter Instrumentation System that produces on-site data evaluation capabilities. The Radar Engineering Facility provides the means of developing, testing, maintaining, servicing, calibrating and evaluating radar measurement systems.
