The objectives of the Defensive Information Warfare Facility are: 1) Develop and integrate promising technologies from multiple disciplines to provide Information Assurance (IA) and Information Operations (IO) capabilities; 2) Demonstrate the integration of IFG DIW-related efforts; and 3) Develop and sustain a hands-on base of expertise in computer network attack and defense.
