Maui High-Performance Computing Center

The Maui High-Performance Computing Center (MHPCC) is a research and development center that provides a state-of-the-art computational capability. It is managed by the University of Hawaii under contract to Air Force Research Laboratory’s Directed Energy Directorate at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico. The MHPCC operates as a distributed center for the Department of Defense’s High Performance Computing Modernization Program providing advanced hardware, tools, training, and network connectivity to DoD researchers across the country who support the warfighter. In addition, the MHPCC provides critical high-performance computing resources to other DoD and non-DoD government agencies and educational institutions in Hawaii and throughout the continental United States. The Center is under the command of Air Force Research Laboratory’s Detachment 15: the host unit for all Air Force resources on Maui. The MHPCC is located in the Maui Research and Technology Park in the town of Kihei on the island of Maui, Hawaii.
